Ellie Tillman-Schwartz
Founder, Director
Ellie is a high senior passionate about expanding access to STEAM education and opportunities for women in STEAM. Outside of school, some of her favorite activities include competing on a robotics team and a Science Olympiad team, fencing, running the BioBuilders and Girl Up clubs, and playing the cello. When she's not reading a book, you can find her baking or playing Sudoku.
Christine Chiodo
Vice-Chair, Science Teacher
Christine Chiodo is a dedicated science teacher with over 25 years experience in public education. She has a Master’s Degree of Science in Teaching and is passionate about developing an interactive and systems-based approach to learning the biological sciences. She encourages students to build meaningful connections with the natural world, think creatively, and use hands-on and collaborative approaches to problem solving. She describes a great day in the classroom as the controlled chaos of student interaction, engagement, and fun.

Alex Ko
Alex is a high school senior interested in how engineering and AI can work together to move the world forward. In addition to being a lead coder and math expert on his robotics team, he is a dedicated three sport varsity athlete and captain of the school cross country team. In his free time, Alex likes to read historical non-fiction, solve chess puzzles, and play ping pong with his brother.
Dimitra Papageorgiou
Dimitra is a high school senior with a love for science and biology, particularly in the field of biomedical engineering. Dimitra enjoys exploring these interests through her involvement in her school’s science team and participation in local science fairs. In her free time, Dimitra enjoys spending time with friends, getting caught up on her favorite authors, and attending track practice.
Jonathan Lan
Jonathan Lan is a high school senior passionate about investigating both the scientific and policy solutions that address climate change. He advocates for a greener future as president of Weston’s Students for Environmental Action club and field representative for the climate organization Our Climate. As part of his robotics team, he enjoys the iterative design process of engineering and coding. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, going hiking, and playing drum set.
Keila Jalinous
Keila is a high school senior with a passion for natural sciences, particularly physiotherapy and kinesiology. She showcases her skills as the captain of her school's swim team and as a valuable member of the varsity track team. Additionally, Keila takes on the role of a student leader, actively contributing to the creation of her school's yearbook. Beyond her scientific pursuits, she indulges in the hobby of numismatics, delving into the historical context and cultural significance of coins and paper currency.
